Beginning November 8th, every International Traveler entering the US through airline travel must:
- Be fully vaccinated against COVID-19;
- Present proof of vaccination before boarding;
- Present a negative COVID-19 test taken no more than 3 days before the flight to the U.S
A person is considered fully vaccinated 14 days after their second dose, for those vaccines with two doses, or 14 days after the first dose for the vaccines with only a single dose.
Vaccines accepted are:
Johnson & Johnson;
-Pfizer-BioNTech;
-Moderna;
-AstraZeneca;
-Covishield;
-BIBP / Sinopharm;
-Sinovac.
Accepted documents regarding proof of vaccination are:
Vaccination certificates, physical or digital, with QR code (Generated in Albania from e-albania for those vaccinated in Albania)
Vaccination Certificate issued at the National level
Groups exempt from this rule are:
- Children Under 18
- U.S Citizens
- U.S Permanent residents
Those in this category must present a negative Covid-19 test taken no more than 1 day before their flight to the United States.
