Visa regulations 

Foreigners with the intention to visit Albania have to obtain in advance the necessary visas. The Embassy, Consular Section, is responsible to receive their visa applications and to further proceed with the issuing.

Only foreigners who are legally resident in the territory of the Netherlands are eligible to apply for visas at this Embassy. They have to appear personally and motivate the purpose of their journey with supporting documentation.

Travel passports should be valid at least 3 months after the expiry of the term of requested visa.

Exemptions from the visa regime

Exempted from the visas are the nationals of the countries, holders of:

- ordinary passports and/or ID cards; 

- diplomatic and service passports; 

2) Without visa are the holders of a Laissez-Passer issued by United Nations Organizations and its branches, NATO, Council of Europe and European Union, regardless of their nationality.
