"As an elected member of the Security Council, Albania aims to contribute to maintaining and strengthening the multilateral order by addressing global challenges and promoting peace and security. One of our priorities during the two-year term are the rights of women and girls, as we are convinced that building and maintaining peace is possible only when women are fully and equally on board. We strongly believe that women's rights and their voices are essential to human rights, democracy, security and prosperity", said the minister in her speech.
