On November 29th, 2022, at the premises of Divani Caravel Hotel, on the occasion of the National Day and the 110th Αnniversary of Independence of Albania, the Embassy of Republic of Albania in Athens had the pleasure to host a reception for the Albanian community in Greece.

At this event over 500 guests enjoyed an exciting artistic programme, with a wide repertoire from all Albanian regions, with the debut of talented artists, violinist Olen Cezari and singers Marsela Çibukaj and Lavinia Mancusi.

Special greetings from Tirana via video-messages were addressed to the attendees by the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Albania, Mrs. Olta Xhaçka and the Mayor of Tirana, Mr. Erion Veliaj.

At this event we were honoured by the presence of the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs for the Diaspora, Mrs. Artemis Malo.

Furthermore, Ambassador Hajdaraga congratulated the Albanian business community in Greece for significant role for economic and social development in both countries. In the framework of Embassy-Community cooperation, Ambassador Hajdaraga evaluated the work done and announced the implementation, in a very short time, of the project of the Albanian Cultural Center in Athens and that of other projects.
