Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Ditmir Bushati attended the Second Inter-ministerial Meeting between Greece, Albania, Bulgaria and Macedonia, which was held in Thessaloniki.
According to Minister Bushati, this is an an important meeting to strengthen and further deepen good neighborly relations and cooperation.
Our countries have faced some difficult moments in the field of security, the fight against illegal trafficking and violent extremism: "At this moment we are sketching some areas to further boost cooperation. We hope these will help us in the integration process of either Albania or Macedonia”, Minister Bushati highlighted.
Issues discussed at this meeting include: the strategic implications of the situation and the current security challenges in our region, the need to address the new political and economic conditions and common challenges as well as issues related to the energy sector.
