As part of the Salaminia 2022 Celebrations, the Prefecture of Attica in collaboration with the Municipality of Salamis, under the auspices of the Ministry of Defense, held the wreath-laying ceremony at the Monument to the Unknown Soldier in the Regiment, in honor of the International Anniversary of the Naval Battle of Salamis 480 BC.
In honor of all those who sacrificed their lives in the name of freedom, civilization and democracy, Ambassador Ms. Luela Hajdaraga together with the Military Attaché colonel Roland Berzani participated in this jubilee, laying a wreath of flowers near the Monument of the Unknown Soldier in Syntagma.
Present at this event were also the Deputy Minister of Defense of Greece, Mr. Nikolaos Chardhalias, the Regional Governor of Attica, Mr. George Patoulis, Mayor of Salamina, Mr. George Panagopoulos, as well as other local and foreign personalities.
