The Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Olta Xhaçka published some photos from “Colours of Albanians 2022”.
The Minister invites everyone to be part of this photo contest that brings the Colours of Albanians.
“Good morning with Colours of Albanians 2022. Join the competition, by posting photos and videos on Instagram with the hashtag and tag coloursofalbanians,” says Xhaçka.
Until now 5 editions of “Colors of Albania” have been organized by the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, and a similar edition has been organized in Kosovo earlier.
This is the first year that the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs of Albania and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora of Kosovo organize together “Colours of Albanians”.
This competition was launched on November 26 in the framework of the G2G meeting of Albania and Kosovo.
This edition has a more active involvement of the Diaspora, as this year’s campaign aims to reach a wider audience, not only those who live in Albanian populated countries, but in all countries where the diaspora lives and works, to promote a common sense of Albanian identity and our European belonging.
To join the competition is very simple: everyone with a phone or camera, is invited to capture a moment from everyday life, travel, a moment from life as a resident or visitor in Albania and Kosovo and post this photo/video on Instagram @coloursofalbanians the official account of this competition, using the hashtag # ColoursofAlbanians2022 and tag @coloursofalbanians.
The collection of photos and videos at the end of the competition will be reviewed by the jury of seven famous personalities of art and photography from Albania, Kosovo and the Diaspora who will select 50 best photos and videos and announce the 6 winning photos and video.
Part of the jury are Elina Duni, Fadil Berisha, Arian Mavriqi, Alban Nimani, Andi Deliana, Ilir Kaso, Dardan Luta.
The closing ceremony will be on 17th February in Kosovo and the photos will finally be collected into an album, which will be distributed worldwide through the diplomatic missions of Albania and Kosovo.
Colours of Albanians aims to promote the cultural heritage of our countries as they transformed on the road to EU integration, to strengthen the national brand and improve the image of Albania and Kosovo around the world and strengthen relations between the diaspora and the country of origin.
