The Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Ditmir Bushati held  an official visit in Astana, Kazakhstan. During this visit, the first of a foreign minister of Albania during these 25 years, Bushati met with the Foreign Minister Kairat Abdrakhmanov of the Republic of Kazakhstan and was received by Senate Speaker Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
At the meeting with Kazakh counterpart, Minister Bushati emphasized the importance of intensifying economic and trade relations, through the concretization of ties in various business sectors in areas of mutual interest between the two countries.

Albania Tourism Investment Summit will take place in Albania on 26-27 November 2018. This full-day event is the Official Summit for the Albanian Tourism sector and is set to become the most established annual conference and exhibition around the Albanian and regional Travel and Tourism investment sector.
Travel and tourism is a 1.24 billion dollar industry in Albania and is rapidly growing by 6.2% annually. It is expected to become a 2.1 billion dollar industry by 2028, an indicator of Albania’s Tourism Industry’s abundant opportunities and beneficial climate for business.

Ditmir Bushati, Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, received  in a meeting Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey, who is conducting an official visit to our country. In the framework of this visit, the two counterparts held a joint meeting where a number of issues were discussed, with a focus on bilateral political, economic and trade relations, further cooperation opportunities between Albania and Turkey, as well as regional and international issues.

Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Ditmir Bushati, welcomed today the Parliamentary State Secretary at the Federal Ministry of the Interior, Stephan Mayer, who is paying an official visit to Albania.
Minister Bushati expressed gratitude to the State Secretary Stephan Mayer for Germany’s unwavering support in the integration process. Minister Bushati briefed him on the reforms, underlining that it is our government’s commitment to fulfill the recommendations, not only in the context of the EU integration process, but primarily for the future of the country.
