New rules to enter the Republic of Albania apply starting from September 6, 2021
The Technical Committee of Experts in Albania, assessing the current situation of the global COVID-19 pandemic, has decided to issue the following travel measures:
Starting from September 6, 2021, all passengers who enter the Republic of Albania from all border points (air, sea and land) must be able to provide one of the following documentation:
 1. Vaccination certificate, valid from at least two weeks from the date of the full injection, or
 2. Negative PCR test, valid within 72 hours prior to entering Albania, or
 3. Rapid antigen test, performed 48 hours before entry, or
 4. A recovery certificate, demonstrating recovery from the Sars-Cov2 infection, valid for up to 6 months after recovery.
These rules also apply for all passengers who transit through the Republic of Albania.
Children up to the age of 6 are not subject to the above mentioned travel regulations.
Albanian nationals residing in Albania, who return to their place of residence and cannot submit one of the above documents, must self-isolate for 10 days and inform the relevant Albanian health authority at the end of their isolation period.
