Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME), founded in 1782, is one of the most prestigious institutions of higher education in Europe. BME marked the beginning of 2020 with a ceremony that brought together representatives of science and education, of central and local governments, of the Diplomatic Corps and business circles. Suring the ceremony, the Rector of the University, Dr. Józsa János, gave to Ambassador Spasse the opportunity to say some words about his experience of cooperation with the University where the Hungarian experts helping with the earthquake damage estimation have graduated. The Ambassador expressed his gratitude for the experts' contribution and thanked the Hungarian government, OTP Bank and the Hungarian people for their solidarity and support during those difficult days.
