In the premises of the Argentina's Ambassador residence in Budapest, Hungarian friends, members of the Albanian and Argentinian community in Hungary, colleagues of the diplomatic corps and of the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs of Albania had the pleasure to enjoy "Lulebore", "Moj e bukura More" and other Hungarian and classical pieces, masterfully interpreted by the talented soprano Alisa Katroshi and the Hungarian-Argentinian pianist Attila Jeszensky-Böhm. In the framework of diplomatic consultations between Albania and Hungary, the Director General for Political and Strategic Affairs at MEFA, Mrs. Mimoza Halimi, met with the Secretary of State for EU Affairs at the Office of the Prime Minister, Mr. Szabolcs Takacs. In addition to exchanging views on current developments in Europe, Mr. Takacs reconfirmed Hungary's unwavering support for Albania's progress towards EU integration.

Representatives of two prestigious companies –Kastrati and Linde, respectively Mr. Muj Nerguti and Mr. Ádám Kovács, discussed the possibilities of co-operation at a meeting organized by the Albanian Embassy in Budapest. Both sides expressed their interest in establishing cooperation and we believe that this relationship will have tangible results soon.

Albanian artists perform in Budapest

Great performance of #AlisaKatroshi yesterday at Újpesti's stage in Budapest, in the stand-up of András Hábetler. With her interpretation of classical pieces from Mozart, Puccini and Catalano, as well as of the superb Albanian song "Moj e bukura More", she won the hearts and applause of the Hungarian public. OTP Bank will soon open its doors in Albania. Ambassador Spasse had a meeting with Mr. Laszlo Wolf, Deputy Executive Director of the Bank, as well as with Mr. Peter Bese, administrator. They discussed on the advancement of procedures, on the Hungarian expectations, as well as on the situation in Albania and the progress achieved through the ongoing reforms. During their visit to Eger, Ambassador Spasse, the Honorary Consul, Mr. Hafuzi and the First Secretary, Mr. Ilir Qorri, had a meeting with the Administrator of Eger Crown Wine House, Mr. József Rácz. The conversation focused on the winery's history and on the possibility of establishing a relationship with Albanian wine and mushroom producers. They had the chance to visit the winery, the vineyard, as well as the mushroom farm, the biggest one in Central Europe.

Dr. Denes Bulkai, President of ArchEnerg Cluster, and Ms. Irina Szocs, Vice President, visited the Albanian Embassy in Budapest to discuss with Ambassador Spasse on the possibilities of cooperation with Albanian companies in the sector of renewable energy. The Ambassador informed them on the recent developments in the energy sector in Albania, as well as on the areas where foreign investors are welcomed. He also offered Embassy's help to assist in establishing contacts and partnerships with Albanian companies operating in this sector.

Albania and European Union

Ambassador Spasse had the pleasure to discuss with the students of ESSCA École de Management in Budapest on Albania's efforts towards the European Union and on the challenges that the country faces in its endeavors. The discussion was preceded by a video about Albania accompanied by some photos of the 2018 edition of Colors of Albania. This discussion was made possible thanks to the cooperation with Ambassador Peter Kraft.
