
During his visit in Sofia, Prime Minister Edi Rama had a working breakfast with the President of the Republic of Bulgaria, Rumen Radev to further discuss the European Integration, the dispute between Bulgaria and North Macedonia and bilateral cooperation in different spheres.
Prime Minister Rama emphasized the need for dialog between Bulgaria and North Macedonia. According to Prime Minister Rama, the issue should be resolved between two sides hoping the compromise will be reached soon. Prime Minister Rama stated that Tirana supports both Sofia and Skopje and believes that the two countries can overcome the difficulties and reach a compromise.
In this context, Prime Minister Rama highlighted the conditions met by Albania for the first intergovernmental conference.
Prime Minister Rama and President Radev exchanged views in very topics and fields of possible cooperation between two countries.
